Applying

All artists on Dartroom need to go through an application process to get an artist account. Without an artist account, you can only trade NFTs on Dartroom and not mint new NFTs.

Where to apply

To apply for an artist position, please fill out the form on the site. It requires a name, email and social accounts. The email address will be used to contact you with the result of the application and will be the email of your artist account. The social accounts are used to review your work and history.

Dartroom might ask you to prove your work is original and made by you if your social accounts are new or have a small following.

We are revising our application process because of the recent increase of scammers trying and sometimes succeeding to get on to Dartroom.

Conditions to get accepted

When reviewing your application, the Dartroom team looks at multiple conditions:

  • Your art history (for how long have you been an artist)
  • The originality of the work (making sure it does not overlap with the existing artists on Dartroom)
  • Social following

The most important factor to getting accepted on Dartroom is your art history. It is crucial for collectors that the art they buy will not become invaluable because the artist behind it stops their art career. And for Dartroom, it is important that the artist on the platform keep up with their art career, as fans buy most NFTs. An artist's fan base will only stay or be built up when the artist regularly uploads new works and interacts with the community.
